Kailey Aiken is from Rockaway Beach, New York, where she spends her summers lifeguarding and surfing. She is currently a junior at the University of Tampa studying writing and journalism. She is also an avid reader, creative writer, skier, and runner, and writes a weekly column about lifeguarding for her local newspaper during the summers.
